Our volunteers and interns come to us from all over the world to work in our organization in various capacities. Some come for 2 weeks, some stay for a year but all leave having seen a different side of Cape Town and South Africa and having made a big difference to our team and the work we do.

Volunteers & Interns are not only required to assist with the day-to-day running of BEN but also in the following departments:

• Marketing, advertising & PR
• Events Management & Planning
• Cycling Training Support (bicycle maintenance & safety skills)
• Community outreach assistance
• Report writing and project assessment
• Cycling advocacy (working with cycling planners at City and Province level)
