Our Network
BEN currently has 40 active Bicycle Empowerment Centre (BEC) partners. These centres are active in many localities including Westlake, Masiphumelele, Ocean View, Manenberg, Wemmershoek, Mitchells Plain, Montagu, Struisbaai, Merweville, Khayelitsha, Grabouw and Langa.
BEC managers routinely assist BEN with programmes, projects and events.
In addition to the BECs, BEN also has an active working relationship with some 27 community bicycle initiatives all over the Western Cape.
BEN enjoys close working relationships with a range of organisations that comprise the cycling community and we often find ourselves working collaboratively in partnership with these.
