KYAYELITSHA VELOKHAYA BEC OPENING

Velokhaya Bicycle Empowerment Centre in Khayelitsha was February 2018. This is a joint project of BEN, Velokhaya, and internationally based Ubuntu. The Empowerment Centre is located at Velokhaya in their former offices which were converted and revamped by BEN. This would not have been possible without project funding donated by Udo Klempt and Patrick Mertens of Ubuntu and Sinclair’s Africa – THANK YOU. We would like to wish Mzolisi James, the newly appointed BEC, at Velokhaya all the success in his newly required business opportunity.
