BEN and our partners the Pedal Power Association (PPA) recently launched the exciting new schools cycling safety initiative which sees children from schools across the Western Cape being taught the fundamentals of being safe on the road while cycling.

There is a shift happening in cycling circles with the bicycle starting to regain its place as an important mode of transport. On the 18th August 2016, BEN held a stakeholders networking event at the Western Province Cricket Club in Rondebosch.
Following on from Nelson Mandela’s vision of making a positive difference to the lives of others, BEN recently donated 30 bicycles, helmets, locks and tool kits to individuals and organisations with a need for mobility during July, in celebration of Mandela Day.
