The BEN team spent a week at the Missionvale Care Centre, located in the township of Missionvale, Port Elizabeth. Learners and healthcare workers from the community each received a bike as part of an exciting project that was funded by the Grassroots Youth Development Programme.

There is a shift happening in cycling circles with the bicycle starting to regain its place as an important mode of transport. On the 18th August 2016, BEN held a stakeholders networking event at the Western Province Cricket Club in Rondebosch.
Following on from Nelson Mandela’s vision of making a positive difference to the lives of others, BEN recently donated 30 bicycles, helmets, locks and tool kits to individuals and organisations with a need for mobility during July, in celebration of Mandela Day.
